Q: How to transfer a balance in online or mobile banking.
- Log in to the mobile app or online banking.
- Select Transfer & Pay from the main menu.
- Choose the Balance Transfer option. You may be asked to enter a verification code.
- Select the Mountain America credit card or home equity line of credit you’d like to transfer the balance to.
- Enter the Payee name. This is the bank or credit card company you want to transfer funds from.
- Enter your account number and any other requested information for that institution.
- Click Get Payee Details.
- Enter the amount you wish to transfer and click Review.
- Make sure everything looks correct and click Complete.
Please note that most balance transfers take 2–3 business days to be finalized.
