After surviving childhood cancer, Utah native Ciearra Everpack turned her experience into a mission to help others. Now 16 years in remission, she founded From Chemo to Crown, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting families facing childhood cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

At just 12 years old, Ciearra faced a life-changing diagnosis, but with the support of her family and community, she found strength through treatment—something she now works to pass on to others.

From Chemo to Crown focuses on easing the burdens families face, from financial strain to emotional stress. They provide direct support, organizing uplifting activities and creating a space where families can connect with others who truly understand their journey.

Recently, the Fox 13 Dream Team and Mountain America honored Ciearra with special gifts and a $1,500 donation to help further her mission and expand the nonprofit’s impact.

At its core, From Chemo to Crown is about connection, understanding and hope. Through every act of kindness and every family they reach, Ciearra is turning her past into purpose—proving that even the hardest journeys can grow into something that lifts others.
