Q: Will I be charged a fee for using Standard Overdraft Privilege?

If you selected Standard Overdraft Privilege when opening your account and the eligibility requirements are met, transactions covered when your available balance is insufficient will incur an overdraft fee. Standard Overdraft Privilege covers checks, automatic withdrawals and transactions made using your checking account number (ACH).

If you have this service on your account but do not use it, it will remain in place as a safeguard and no fees will be charged. If no overdraft option is selected at account opening, Standard Overdraft Privilege will be automatically added to the account .
