Q: How do I dispute a charge that appears on my credit or debit card?

Once you have made a good faith effort to resolve the dispute with the merchant directly, Mountain America provides numerous ways to dispute a transaction if you believe a billing error or fraud has occurred.

You may:

1. File a dispute online or in the app. Learn more
   a. Log in to online banking or the mobile app.
   b. Choose Accounts from the menu.
   c. Select Transactions Disputes.
   d. Follow the instructions.
2. Visit your local branch.
3. Call toll-free 1-800-748-4302.
4. Send a letter by mail. Please provide your name, phone number, last four digits of your account number and a brief explanation of the charges you are disputing.
