Q: How do I add a Travel Note on my account?

A travel note tells Mountain America that you will be using your debit or credit card outside your normal area, helping to reduce declined transactions. However, travel notes do not guarantee all transactions will be approved.

You can add a travel note in any of the following ways:

In the mobile app
  • Open the Mountain America mobile app.
  • Navigate to card manager.
  • Select your card.
  • Add your travel details.
In online banking
  • Sign in to macu.com.
  • Navigate to card manager.
  • Select your card.
  • Add your travel details.
