The PEAK Program
Elevate your personal and professional development
Mountain America’s Professional Empowerment and Achievement in Knowledge (PEAK) program is a free development experience for high school and college students. Through the PEAK program, students can gain:
- Practical financial skills
- Access to scholarship opportunities
- Exposure to career paths at a financial institution
- Direct interaction with industry professionals
The program can be conducted virtually or in person at a location within our footprint.
Eligibility requirements
- This program is designed for members of student organizations and clubs.
- Students should be high school juniors and seniors or current college students.
- A teacher or student advisor must submit the request and participate as a chaperone.

Tracks
The PEAK program offers two tracks for students participating in a club or organization.
Choose the option that fits your schedule and goals.
One-day workshop
- One financial education class led by a specialist from Mountain America
- Group participation in Mountain America’s award-winning Game of Money
- A keynote presentation and panel discussion featuring Mountain America team leaders
Multi-session program
- A series of financial education classes led by specialists from Mountain America
- Course options include credit, budgeting, fraud protection, investing and banking basics. Courses can be modified to meet participants’ needs. Explore our offerings.
- Networking opportunities with other program graduates
- Visit to Mountain America’s headquarters
- Full day of professional development opportunities including:
- Free professional headshot
- Informational session with an HR professional
- Professional etiquette and social media course
