Mountain America can start loan applications and give preapprovals over the phone for the following loans:
- Home equity lines of credit (HELOCs)
- Vehicle loans
- RV/motorhome loans
- Boat loans
- Motorcycle loans
- Other consumer loans

Business loans and long-term mortgages (15–30 years) cannot be preapproved over the phone.
Documentation
For preapprovals, Mountain America may require scanned (faxed/emailed) copies of income verification or other required documents. If the loan is approved, closing paperwork may be sent to a branch of your choice for signatures. Some loan types allow electronic signatures. This option would not require you to visit the branch in person to sign.
