The Patriot Act requires identification for all potential account owners. The most commonly accepted forms of identifications are:
- Driver's license
- State identification
- Passport
- Military identification
Mountain America will also accept:
- Matricula Consular Card from Mexico
- Permanent resident/alien card
- Foreign Passport
- Consular Card from Guatemala
- Documento Nacional de Identidad (Peru)
