All funds deposited at Mountain America are federally insured to at least $250,000 and backed by the full faith and credit of the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the Federal Government. Credit unions support the operations of the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF) by maintaining deposits with the fund equal to a percentage of their insured savings.
