Pay with your phone
Your cards are compatible with all major mobile wallets.

Android Pay

Imagine the things you love about your Mountain America Visa® card. Then add the simplicity of Android Pay™. It allows you to:

  • Pay with your phone instead of reaching for your wallet.
  • Protect your card information with multiple layers of security.
  • Just unlock to pay—no need to open an app.

Pay your way

Using your Mountain America Visa card is as easy as pulling out your Android phone:

  • Choice—Works with Android phones running KitKat 4.4+ and enabled with NFC and HCE.
  • Simplicity—Paying in stores is as simple as holding your mobile device to a contactless reader.
  • Security—Your actual card number is never shared with stores. Every card you use with Android Pay is assigned a virtual card number, which is then used to process your payment.

Getting started is simple

  • Download the Android Pay app.
  • Add your Mountain America Visa card—it’s as simple as snapping a photo.
  • Pay confidently at over a million locations in the U.S.

Apple Pay

The wait is over! You can now use your Mountain America Visa® card with Apple Pay™ on your iPhone 6, Apple Watch, iPad Air 2 or iPad Mini 3.

A new way to pay

When you combine Apple Pay with your Mountain America Visa card, you have access to a new level of security and convenience. Simply use your TouchID™ thumbprint or passcode to authorize a purchase. There is no need to share your card number.

How it works

Instead of using your actual credit and debit card numbers, Apply Pay creates a unique device account number, encrypting and securely storing it in the secure element, a dedicated chip in your device. When you make a purchase, the device account number and a transaction-specific dynamic security code are used to process the payment. Your actual credit or debit card numbers are never shared with merchants or transmitted with payment.

How to set up Apple Pay

  • On your iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, open Passbook and follow the steps below.
  • On your iPad Air 2 or iPad mini 3, go to Settings > Passbook & Apple Pay and follow the steps below.

Add a card to your iPhone or iPad:

  1. On your iPhone, tap the plus icon next to Apple Pay in the upper-right corner. On your iPad, tap Add Credit or Debit Card.
  2. If you have a supported credit or debit card on file with iTunes, enter the card’s security code. Otherwise, use the camera to capture the information on your credit or debit card. Then fill in any additional information needed, including the card security code.
  3. Tap Next. Your bank will verify your information and decide if you can add your card to Apple Pay. If they need more information, they'll ask you to provide additional verification. You can verify your card any time after you add it to Passbook. Just return to Passbook and follow the steps.
  4. After your card is verified, tap Next. Then you can start using Apple Pay.

Samsung Pay

With Mountain America and Samsung Pay on your Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge, paying on the go is as easy as pulling out your phone. Samsung Pay is available virtually anywhere you can swipe your card. Plus, it works at more places than any other mobile payment service.* Simply swipe up to launch the app, secure the transaction with your fingerprint and hover your device over the card reader to complete the payment.

Security features

In addition to being easy to use, Samsung Pay is highly secure:

  • Personal protection—Transactions are authorized with your fingerprint, so you’re in control of when each payment is made.
  • Shop safe—Each transaction uses a random token instead of your card number, which means your actual information isn’t shared when you shop, and your details stay safe.
  • Built-in security—With Samsung Knox technology embedded, your phone is constantly monitored for signs of malicious attacks or vulnerabilities. If your phone is ever compromised, your card information is still safely encrypted within a separate and secure data vault.
  • Privacy Protection—Your purchases remain yours alone; Samsung Pay doesn’t store or share your payment information.

Start using Samsung Pay today

For most Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge users, Samsung Pay will be either installed during a system update or preinstalled on your device. To add your debit or credit cards, simply use your phone’s camera to scan in your card information, and then secure the account with your fingerprint and backup PIN. In just a few minutes, you’ll be ready to go.
