If you’re thinking of visiting the Disneyland® Resort this spring or summer, you’re in for a treat. We’ve partnered with Get Away Today® to guide your must-see list at the Disneyland Resort in 2018. Keep reading to find out what’s new, what to expect and how to make your trip even more magical!

Nighttime entertainment
There are four major nighttime shows available at the Disneyland Resort this spring and summer—two in each park. See the Paint the Night Parade and the mesmerizing World of Color at Disney California Adventure Park. Over at Disneyland, feast your eyes on the newly revamped “Fantasmic!” in Frontierland and, as part of the limited-time Pixar Fest, the new fireworks show, Together Forever—A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular.

Daytime entertainment
Warmer weather brings so many options to the Disneyland Resort. Pixar Fest will include a special Pixar Short Film Festival in Hollywood Land at Disney California Adventure Park. This will also be the new home for the Pixar Play Parade, right in the heart of Main Street, U.S.A., featuring new floats, character appearances and incredible fun. And, don’t miss the Broadway-worthy Frozen at the Hyperion Theater or Mickey and the Magical Map at Fantasyland, both with multiple show times daily.

New attractions
If it’s been a while since you’ve been to Disneyland, there are likely some attractions you haven’t experienced yet. Last summer, Guardians of the Galaxy—Mission: Breakout! opened with rave reviews. Since there are six variations of this ride, it’s likely that you haven’t yet experienced everything it has to offer. Speaking of different versions of attractions, Star Tours has new scenes as well. One includes a preview of a never-before-seen glimpse of Galaxy’s Edge, the new land dedicated to Star Wars.

Over in Disney California Adventure, the Incredicoaster, formerly known as California Screamin’, will debut its new theme on June 23, 2018. We can’t wait!

Maximize your time
With so much to see and do, you’ll want to spend as much time as possible at the Disneyland Resort. We recommend a 5-day Park Hopper ticket. This will be the most flexible way to experience everything that the Disneyland Resort has to offer. Plus, you’ll also pay less per day the longer you stay.

For added savings, check out Get Away Today's Extra Day Free ticket special or one of their area hotel free-night specials. If you happen to be at Disneyland on a busy day, consider upgrading to the MaxPass. This optional service allows you to make FASTPASS reservations from your phone for a small daily fee.

If you want more tips and tricks for your Disneyland vacation, be sure to visit getawaytoday.com or call their agents at 855-GET-AWAY.
