Brett Vellinga has worked in the mortgage industry since 2005 and is currently serving Mountain America members in northern Utah County. He has helped the credit union's members achieve their financial goals through homeownership since 2012.

As a mortgage specialist, Brett loves to meet with homebuyers and homeowners to present them with beneficial home loan options. From the beginning, he helps members understand the homebuying steps and guides them through the process.

Brett was born and raised in Utah County, where he has lived most of his life. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University in 2002 and a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in finance from the University of Utah in 2005.

In his free time, Brett enjoys outdoor recreation with his wife and six children, who love to join him backpacking and waterskiing in the summer and skiing and snowboarding in the winter.
