There are multiple ways to qualify for credit union membership:
- Working or volunteering at, or belonging to, a Select Employer Group (SEG) or affiliated association
- Living with or under the same roof as an existing Mountain America member
- Being part of an existing Mountain America member's immediate family
- Residing in certain areas
