Kurt Peterson joined Mountain America in 2024. His SBA and commercial lending career began in 2003 in Chicago, after graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a dual degree in finance and economics.

He relocated to Phoenix in 2006. Since then, Kurt has held various roles in SBA, C&I and commercial lending at a credit union, regional bank and private debt fund.

Outside of work, he enjoys camping with his wife and four children, attending sporting events and coaching his children in football and basketball.
