Health Savings Account

Take control of your healthcare costs
Save on out-of-pocket medical expenses by pairing your high-deductible health plan with a Health Savings Account (HSA).

What is a health savings account?

A Health Savings Account (HSA) is a tax-advantaged medical savings account that you own. It helps individuals and families cover medical and health-care expenses that would otherwise not be covered by their health insurance plan. Plus, HSAs are not state-specific. So even if you live outside our region (Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Idaho or beyond), you can still open a Mountain America HSA.
