Q. What is CARL?
A. CARL stands for Credit union Automated Response Line. It's a voice-activated phone banking system that's available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Q. Do I have to sign up to use CARL?
A. If you have never used Touch Tone Teller before, you can sign up for CARL by calling our Service Center at 800-748-4302 or your nearest branch. If you have used Touch Tone Teller before, your member (account) number and PIN are the same with CARL.
Q. How do I use CARL?
A. Just call 888-370-CARL and say your member (account) number and PIN when prompted. After your member number and PIN are validated, you will proceed to CARL's main menu where you will have a choice of options.
Q. What is my PIN?
A. Your PIN is the same PIN you use in Touch Tone Teller.
Q. What is my member number?
A. Your member number is the same as your account number.
Q. How do I get back to the main menu?
A. Just say "Main Menu" at any time during the call.
Q. Do I have to say aloud my member number and PIN?
A. No. You may enter in your member number and PIN using the touch tones if you prefer.
Q. Why does CARL have a difficult time understanding me?
A. We are always trying to improve CARL's ability to understand you. It is helpful to speak clearly in a normal voice. Also, avoid noisy environments and speaker phones. If CARL has a hard time understanding you, he will ask you to repeat the phrase.
Q. Is there a way to skip prompts and move ahead?
