If you're a student heading off to college, you’re probably trying to figure out how you’ll pay for school. Mountain America may be able to help.

Paul R. Ball Memorial Scholarship—available for MACU members or their families

Each year Mountain America awards $1,500 each to three winners of the Paul R. Ball Memorial Scholarship, which honors a former MACU vice president who died in a tragic automobile accident in 1992. Applications must be completed and submitted to Mountain America by April 9, 2010.

Utah Public Employees’ Association Scholarship—available for members of both MACU and UPEA or their dependants

Another option is the Utah Public Employees’ Association (UPEA) Scholarship, which awards $1000 each to three winners. Applications must be completed and submitted to UPEA by 5:00 p.m. on March 5, 2010. Scholarships will be awarded on March 26 at the UPEA General Council at the Hilton in Salt Lake City.
